 Dr. Tom Sutton, DVM

Dr. Tom Sutton, a native of the Texas Hill Country, is a 1978 graduate of Texas A&M University. After practicing in the Houston area for 5 years, Dr. Sutton came to Northwest Austin in 1983 where he has devoted his time, care and love for practicing veterinary medicine for the past 24 years.

Dr. Sutton was the founder of Northwest Austin Veterinary Center, Lakeline Animal Care, and a co-founder of the  Emergency Animal Clinic of Northwest Austin.  He and his wife, Denise, have been married for 25 years and have two sons at Texas A&M.

 Dr. David Weaver, DVM

Dr. David Weaver  is a native Austinite, attended Round Rock's Westwood High School,  and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 from Texas A&M University.  After graduation, Dr. Weaver spent 2 years in the heart of Texas Hill Country, in Brady, Texas and also spent time practicing in the Dallas area before settling back home.

He joined Dr. Sutton in private practice in Northwest Austin in 1999.

Dr. Weaver enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine including prevatative healthcare and internal medicine, and has a special interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.

 Dr. Adriana Mendoza, DVM

Welcome to Hometown Animal Care Dr. Adriana Mendoza! 

Dr. Mendoza goes by the nickname of Adri, pronounced Audrey, and grew up in the "old west Texas town of El Paso"

Dr. Mendoza attended the University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate, graduating in 2002 and then attended the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and received her DVM in 2006. 

Dr. Mendoza completed a small animal rotating surgical and medicine internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls, New Jersey from June 2006 to July 2007. Red Bank is the largest privately owned veterinary hospital in the U.S.

 Dr. Christina Morelli, DVM

Dr. Christina Morelli graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine magna cum laude in May of 2005.

Her studies focused on both small animal and exotic medicine. She completed her clinical internship at the San Antonio Zoo and her externship training at the Houston Zoological Gardens.

Additionally, Dr. Morelli has mastered several advanced courses including: cardiology, echocardiography, ultrasound, cytology, oncology, and feline medicine.

Her special interests include exotic animal medicine and surgery, small animal endocrinology, and small animal gastrointestinal disease. 

 Dr. Morelli sees a wide variety of pets including avians, reptiles, rabbits, ferrets, rodents, dogs, and cats. Benefits
